Inspiration: Healing...

"If there's no breaking then there's no healing, and if there's no healing then there's no learning." -One Tree Hill

Inspiration: Healing...

Stone#19
Hours ticking by, we are all in need of healing
I hear the titihoya cry, we cry for healing...
A wreath floats by, the heart yearns for healing
A flower blooms, we begin our healing
A hug in sight... we become the healing...
More below!

"Healing does not mean going back to the way things were before, but rather allowing what is now to move us closer to Creation."   Ram Dass

Inspiration: Healing...

Small Stones#19
If my words lift up one person, soothe the pain of one person
If my posts comfort one person, heal one person...
If my ideas support one person, encourage one person
If my virtual hugs reach one person {{{HUGS}}}
Then, I have achieved the goals of this blog...

What are small stones?
According to the originators of this wonderful exercise, a small stone is a short piece of writing (prose or poetry) that precisely captures a fully-engaged moment. The process of discovering small stones is as important as the finished product. Searching for small stones will encourage you to keep all your senses; - your eyes,(and ears, nose, mouth, fingers, feelings and mind) open.

Some Food for Thought: How do you define healing?  Take a moment to contemplate what healing means to you? Love, Peace and Healing to You and Yours.

I would love to hear from you: Please leave me a comment. Thank You!

  4. Inspiring post. I've been working on healing a heart that was shattered but somehow the scars remain and you still feel that soft ache once in a while.

  15. This is a good inspirational quote, "if there's no breaking, there is no healing and without healing there is no learning". This is indeed very true in many aspects of our lives. Heart aches can make us stronger inside and out. But the healing process is very long and somehow, it brings us painful memories once in a while.

  16. I agree with you. That healing is not repairing what has been damaged but keeping us to move on and get back on the track.

  17. TY Krizza, I liked that quote too because of the recognition that there is pain and healing takes time...

  20. We all need healing in our lives. I define healing as learning from the past and moving on to the future.
