What is the most popular meal of the day in your home? Dinner is a very important meal in many household because it happens to be one meal that families gather around the dining table to enjoy. Often, we are in a rush to have breakfast, we eat lunch at our desks or in the school cafeteria and at the end of the day, we come home to enjoy the evening with family and, hopefully, enjoy a meal together.
I love dinner time because most of my dinner dishes fall in the category of comfort foods; hearty, satisfying, family dishes that remain popular from generation to generation. The dish above is brown rice with sauteed fresh vegetables. Sometimes we have a salad on the side and always some form of protein, preferably fish... I run a meatless household. Oh yes, let's not forget dessert! What do you enjoy at dinner?

Recently, I joined a group of bloggers - FMS Photo A Day - with the goal to post a photo a day on a specific topic. You can read up the rules - how to play. It looked easy to do, until my health got the better of me. I'm playing catch up now, and will post the pictures for the earlier dates to catch up soon. So do come back for the rest and a picture of a favorite dinner dessert. Meanwhile, buon appetito!
