I recently joined forces with a group of bloggers, from Redhead Riter's popular community forum on the SITSGirls/BlogFrog site, to write a weekly commentary called: Tell The Truth Thursday. We have all agreed to tackle a question on Thursdays and write truthfully about it. The questions are randomly selected by our very own community leader and maven - Redhead Riter
This week's question is: If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
I love the kaleidoscope of Crayola colors you can find in the stores today. It's amazing to think that when I was a child they had a more streamlined palate, with primary and pastel colors and that was it. Today, Crayola's colors run the gamut from multiple shades of each primary color, to psychedelic colors, and all sorts of exotic combos in between. They even have colors with matching fruit smells to fill all our senses.
As I thought about the question, it brought back a flood of memories of childhood days playing and coloring with my sister Joy. Back then, I was a one note kid in the color department. I loved red; any variation of red ... as long as it stayed red. I shifted gears when I became a teenage punk rocker and The Sex Pistols, Vivienne Westwood, and all things in the shade black rocked. Moving to NY didn't help much. They love black clothing.
