Kidoodle.TV: TV. Built for Kids, Loved by Parents
An Invitation to Kidoodle.TV and Our Upcoming Twitter Party: I'm excited to share information about the excellent Kidoodle.TV service built specifically for kids and to invite you to our upcoming Twitter Party! What is Kidoodle.TV? Kidoodle.TV is a safe, ad-free streaming video service that offers the discerning parent many quality shows for their children to watch. They provide a generous list of educational and entertaining programs that can be customized for each kid in the family. Because the selection of videos are in an environment that parents control, kids can watch their pre-selected Kidoodle.TV shows on the go and with minimal supervision.
How It Works: Signing up your child is easy peachy. All a parent needs to do is visit the Kidoodle.TV website and register in their own name and once that is completed, they can help their child create a personalized profile. The website is user-friendly, and the registration process is quick and very easy to do. Once the parent is registered, the next step is to help their child create a profile.
How Do You Create a Profile? Parents can create up to 5 custom kids' profiles and set time limits using a protected pass-code. The site provides a template that includes; a place to add the child's name, several themes to help them choose a preferred one, defined age groups to help select the child's correct age, and a wide range of videos to help parents choose a group of shows/content based on each child's age. Kids can also choose on a show-by-show basis.
What About Other Features? Another invaluable feature that Kidoodle.TV offers is the ability for parents to easily set viewing time limits. Once the time limit is set, anywhere from 15 minutes to unlimited viewings, Kidoodle.TV automatically enforces the time limit! So not only would kids get to watch educational and entertaining shows, they'd do so in a safe environment and with clear time limits.
What About The Programs? Kidoodle.TV offers a fairly wide selection of safe, popular and unique kids only content, including retro content from our childhood; shows like Jem and the Holograms, and Inspector Gadget are some of the familiar names on the Title Selection list. Once a child is signed up, they will notify the parent as more educational and entertaining content gets added to the list. Currently, Kidoodle.TV is available only to kids in Canada and the United States and it's a great time to sign your child up and start enjoying the selections.
