"Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth." Buddha
Small Stones #31
I love gazing at the moon and imagining things
Could new worlds exist there?
Could we travel in our minds and meet lifeforms there?
Outside my home, the moon beckoned
I followed and captured these shots...
A branch leaned in for a look in #2
Distant stars showed up as red flecks...
Good night Moon, Good bye Stones...

"If the Sun and Moon should ever doubt, they'd immediately go out." William Blake
Small Stones#31
Just like the waxing and waning of the moon
Things shift in our lives
Small Stones end as a daily tonight...
We meet again only on Small Stones Sundays
They have shone a bright light on my world
For that I am thankful...
I will continue my other writings
Good night Moon, Adios Small Stones...
What are small stones?
According to the originators of this wonderful exercise, a small stone is a short piece of writing (prose or poetry) that precisely captures a fully-engaged moment. The process of discovering small stones is as important as the finished product. Searching for small stones will encourage you to keep all your senses; - your eyes,(and ears, nose, mouth, fingers, feelings and mind) open.
Some Food for Thought: How do you view the moon ? Take a moment to contemplate what the moon means to you? Love and Peace in 2013.
I would love to hear from you: Please leave me a comment. Thank You!

I used a mid range camera form Canon; not top of the line at all. It was a clear night and full moon so I got some good traction. Hope to see your moon photos some day. :-)
