We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day. - Edith Lovejoy Pierce
“Another fresh new year is here . . . William Arthur Ward
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright New Year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!”
For 2013, I wish you and yours:
♥ Health
♥ Happiness
♥ Hope
♥ Abundance
♥ Grace
♥ PEACE & Love
♥ Wisdom
♥ Friendship
♥ Goodwill
♥ Success
♥Adventure
♥ Divine Protection
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
"Instead of a resolution, some people choose a theme word to live by for
the year. Choose a word for 2013 and tell us why you chose it." As per Mamakat's urgings, and Create With Joy's One Word 2013, I choose the word Peace for 2013. 2012 was rift with so much violence and anguish; so many families ended the year with sadness. I pray that Peace will prevail in 2013.
Some Food for Thought: What are your goals/resolutions for the New Year? What impact will you make on your life and on others in your community in 2013?
